Who You Are / Your Next Challenge
The MoneyCorp FIG Compliance Team is looking to strengthen its systems, processes and team knowledge to ensure we keep up with the rapid growth. To help improve the capability, we need a Senior Compliance Officer (FIG) on a 12 months fixed term contact.
To manage and assist with compliance on-boarding and on-going monitoring of Financial Institutions Group (FIG) clients.
Ensure customer compliance visits are completed locally and internationally, and desk reviews all completed in a timely manner.
Dealing with both internal and external stakeholders in those regions, this person will need to demonstrate an ability to own processes, be culturally aware, communicate confidently and is looking to develop their Compliance experience in a forward thinking, fast paced, dynamic foreign exchange and payments company.
What are the Key Activities of this role
- Follow the robust processes in place to review and authorise new customer accounts
- Conduct customer due diligence meetings, with occasional customer onsite visits in the UK and overseas as directed by management
- Compiling detailed customer control analysis reports for management dissemination
- Complete monitoring tasks as directed by senior management and support junior staff members.
- Complete sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening.
- Assist with escalations from first line
- Help to manage additional projects that the team undertake through the year
- Assist with any other ad hoc duties required
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to take on a varied role within a progressive Compliance team, who is keen to get involved in multiple projects within an established growing international organisation.
Knowledge & Experience
- Strong knowledge of local and international AML rules, regulations and best practice.
- Keeps up to date with the market
- Able to work under pressure
- IT proficient
- Attention to detail
- French or Russian speaking would be beneficial
