Senior Compliance Manager

A Global and Lloyd's Market Insurance and Reinsurance company are currently recruiting for a Senior Compliance Manager
Their ideal candidate will be an Insurance Market Compliance specialist with 5 + years of experience who's interested in taking on a very exciting and unique Senior Compliance Manager opportunity.
Role Summary
Compliance framework, policies and procedures
* Support in the development and maintenance of a robust, risk-based compliance framework to facilitate the company's adherence to applicable regulatory and legislative requirements and the company's own internal policies, procedures and controls
* Provide expert guidance to the business on compliance/regulatory matters
Monitoring of compliance and regulatory risk
* Assist the senior management, Board and other governance functions in identifying, assessing and monitoring areas of regulatory risk
* Monitor the regulatory and legislative landscape and assess its impact on the business
* Manage regulatory submissions
* Pro-actively monitor the company's compliance with policies, procedures, and controls
Financial crime prevention
* Mitigate the risks to the company posed by financial crime (e.g., money laundering, terrorist financing, financial sanctions and fraud)
Regulatory reporting
* Prepare compliance reports for the company's senior management, Board of Directors and relevant committees
Compliance-aware culture
* Embed and develop a strong compliance culture in the Company
Skills and Demonstrated Experience
* Demonstrable significant relevant compliance experience, from within the London or Lloyd's Insurance arena
