Due to our ever increasing workload we are looking for a Senior Consultant Engineering Geologist/Geotechnical Engineer to supervise and project manage geotechnical projects throughout the UK. The role includes supporting staff in the office and technically reviewing their work. The role also includes providing support to site based staff including site visits and meetings.
The role will be both office based and site based. There is also the flexibility to occasionally work from home. Site works will include landfill engineering construction quality assurance, supervision of earthworks, site investigations and surveying. Office works will include technical report and specification preparation, desk studies and data collation and review. You should be familiar with the use of MS Office Software and familiarity with SLOPE/W, AutoCAD and LSS draughting packages would be an advantage.
The candidate should have experience of working for a geotechnical consultancy, regulator or contractor and have a BSc in Geology or Earth Sciences (which have a geotechnical element) or a BEng in Civil Engineering. A Masters Degree in Geotechnical Engineering or other related subject would be an advantage. The candidate must have a full UK driving licence.
