Form of workIn the role of Senior Engineer – Control Systems, you’ll be responsible for providing project leadership to successfully deliver your own projects, as well as supporting those of others. You’ll support the wider engineering team, ensuring they are developing skills and capabilities that grow them and the function as a whole.
You’ll be operating in a fast paced project environment, needing technical, commercial and customer management skills whilst collaborating with some of the most innovative people, companies, and technologies on the planet. You will have:
- Degree educated in mechanical, electrical, electronic or control system engineering or related discipline OR equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Experience in Control Systems development in automotive.
- An aptitude for solving engineering problems, and experience in finding supporting resources.
- Experience in key software tools within automotive engineering (Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, CANape)
- Able to follow key engineering processes and procedures
- High level of numeracy, an ability to apply analytical approaches and strong problem-solving skills
- Able to quickly understand complex technical concepts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
