- Presenting complex information and providing performance reports and documents of high standard in appropriate style and language
- Providing research and analytical advice and supporting across the Service to meet internal and external requirements
- Supporting the delivery of the Service’s Corporate Planning framework with the provision of performance monitoring, including benchmarking exercises against other services
- Providing quality assurance of data and performance information to ensure accuracy and integrity of data
- Contributing to the ongoing development of systems relating to performance information and assisting with ensuring compatibility of information between systems used to improve service delivery
- Supporting the delivery of effective systems to measure and improve performance against service objectives and support operational delivery
To be considered for the Senior Corporate Planning and Performance Analyst role, you must have:
- Previous experience in a similar role producing reports and documentation
- Experience of undertaking research, investigation, analysis and balanced interpretation of a wide range of information sources, to inform decision making
- Knowledge and experience of a broad range of statistical/performance information management techniques and research methods
- An understanding of organisational performance measurements and management information requirements
- The flexibility to respond to changing priorities change, manage time, set priorities, plan and organise own work to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present information to a range of audiences including Senior Management
- Comprehensive skills in the use of IT including Crystal reports and Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)
- Experience of using specialist software applications such as Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and geo-mapping software (advantage)
- An ability to engage and build positive working relationships with colleagues, service users and partners
This is a temporary role with the possibility for a permanent role in the future. Working hours will be full time, Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week and you'll be starting on an hourly rate of £17.16 per hour plus holiday pay.. The role will be predominately office based in St Asaph however there may be some agile working / home-based work available.
