Overview.

Well, our clients Senior Creative Artworker role could be just for you! They are looking for someone that loves nothing more than to craft final work before it goes out of the door, ensure on-point and accurate delivery while working collaboratively with their team of conceptual creatives. Reporting into the Creative Director, you’ll also take an active role in refining the studio process where necessary and support the management and maintenance of our work server.

It goes without saying (but we’ll say it just in case!), you’ll need an excellent understanding of production techniques, print processes, online asset specifications and project sign-off processes. And not only will you need to have an awesome eye for typography, layout, imagery and production, but also capabilities in proof reading and guideline guardianship.

The position.

The Senior Creative Artworker is responsible for delivering consistent and accurate final
artwork across a variety of media including in store POS, digital, marketing campaigns and experiential collatoral. Setting up systems to store and organise assets, visuals and managing the day to day requests and scheduling of artwork projects.

The role requires great attention to detail, accuracy, self motivation and the ability to work to deadllines, even under pressure. Equally comfortable working alone or part of a wider project team, you will provide an extra level of technical expertise and ensure all work adheres to visual identity criteria.

The post holder is also expected to assist the Creative Head and Creative Director in overseeing the pre-press output of external freelancers and contractors.

Duties/areas of responsibility.

Specific responsibilities

• Provide expert creative artwork across a variety of digital and print projects
• The ability to proofread, write and edit content is a must
• Expert use Adobe CC including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat, MS Office and other appropriate applications to produce accurate artwork
• Work with a variety of technically advanced 3D POS structures
• Remain up-to-date with current and up and coming production processes and digital technologies
• Prepare artwork for commercial print and conduct appropriate checks to ensure they are print-ready and/or meet printer specifications
• Set up clear filing system for Artwork jobs on our secure server and back up/file on a weekly basis.
• Follow the sign-off procedure at every stage of production
• IT experience beneficial including workstation set up and technical support for the team

Required skill sets.

- In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

- Minimum 8+ years agency experience

- Understanding of all marketing channels in order to create accurate asset   

  output

- Excellent and accurate proofreading skills

- Strong communication and organisation skills

- Confident and collaborative team player

- Precise and detailed artwork checks and sign-off

- Personable and helpful in your manner

- Flexible and able to prioritise a changing ‘to do’ list

- Trustworthy and reliable

- Self-motivated
