As our Senior Creative Designer and brand guardian, you will take a compelling creative strategy and bring it to life. Working across both colleague & customer touch points – online and offline – you will captivate our audience in a unique, engaging, and impactful way. We operate smart working principles at cardfactory, combining some days working from our support centre in Wakefield (1-2 a week) with some days working remotely from home. Reporting into the Brand Marketing Manager, the role will be responsible for creating and delivering concepts across both internal and external communications. Be the brand guardian in the creative team by ensuring our evolved brand guidelines are captured within all new creative concepts and development so we have brand creative consistency across all channels of our business. Conceptualise, storyboard, and translate creative ideas into multichannel comms whilst providing rationale behind the intended execution based on the brief. Support multiple teams around the business with creative requirements, by creating content for colleagues and/or customers according to the provided brief. Work closely with our Campaign Marketing Manager and International Marketing Manager to oversee, contribute, and create our major and minor campaigns in the UK and abroad. Be the overseer of our online and offline creative by working closely with channel managers so that we have a consistent identity and messaging across all platforms. Support with the creation of brand assets for both UK an international Partners, ensuring our brand identity is consistent across all markets. Manage the Artworker including overseeing their works and supporting their development. Be continually curious about creative design developments, trends, software, and industry news to help further evolve the cardfactory brand. Robust experience as a Creative Designer preferably within a retail brand, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Ability to confidently present to senior stakeholders and agencies with clarity and impact Comfortable and engaged in meetings and workshops with the confidence to challenge a brief. A strong verbal and written communicator, you are good with people and highly interactive. Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Exceptional typography and layout skills. Strong design concepts and the rationale behind them. Proven experience in branding and multi-channel campaigns . Experienced in performing and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Experienced in team management is ideal but not essential.
