Our client offers hybrid working and excellent benefits, working alongside the Credit Manager, overseeing a monthly ledger of £12-15million. The business is a national success and have been growing rapidly over the last couple of years. They have several group entities across the business, experience in managing both B2B and B2C customers would be beneficial.
Your new role
- Proactively managing the ledger across the whole business
- Speaking with customers over the phone and via email, chasing outstanding payments
- Lead in weekly debt call meetings
- Ability to investigate the ledger and ensure effective clear down
- Ability to report to board level on all things Credit/debt related
- Be able to business partner with the wider business to escalate and resolve queries
- Raising manual and ad hoc invoices and credit notes
- Supporting with bank reconciliations and cash allocation
What you'll need
- 2+ years experience in a busy Credit control department
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work
- Strong system and Excel experience
- Work well individually and in a team
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
