Senior Credit Controller

An amazing opportunity has come up within a well-recognised and constantly growing distribution business based near Redditch. This position here is a Senior Credit Control position where the successful person will be looking after key, national accounts for the business. This position is a temporary role to begin with but it will be converting to permanent after a 3 month temporary/probation period.

The role will be looking after key, national accounts, this will include working with portals to chase payments and to be liaising with account managers for more indepth debt chasing. You will be chasing high volume amounts of payments from singular suppliers and it will require the successful person to work at any issues and resolve them ASAP to ensure payment is received. A lot of this query resolution work will happen on excel so ideally we are looking for someone who is confident on excel. Due to this role being a temporary position to begin with, please only apply if you are immediately available or on a one week notice period.

• Previous experience working in credit control, or a similar role where you looked after key, national accounts.
• Be confident with chasing debt over the phone as well as over emails, as well as being able to speak with all different levels of business to discuss payment issues.
• Be very confident on Microsoft Excel, this role will require managing large amounts of data on excel.
• Be immediately available or on a short notice period.
