IN2Consult are on the lookout for a Senior Credit Controller to join a Watford based healthcare company. This is a permanent opportunity offering up to £38,000 pa & the chance for future progression as they are expanding massively. Please see below the responsibilities & skills required -
Responsibilities
- Oversee all debts requiring escalation
- Be the main point of contact with debt collection agency to assist them with query resolution
- Communicate with customers to actively clear debts and negotiate on payment plans or settlement amounts
- Processing payments
- Tracing clients to ensure we have the correct details
- Credit checking clients to review financial & judgement history
- Compilation of documentation ready for legal action to commence
- Logging any new requests for legal action
- Report on progress weekly
- Work collaboratively with OTC management and Operations
- Reconciling customer accounts where necessary
- Managing personal and department inbox and responding to queries within a timely manner
- Any other ad-hoc duties as and when required
Skills Required
- Strong background in Credit Control
- Experience in dealing with complex queries & situations requiring legal escalation
- Good ability to communicate verbally & written
- Good MS Excel skills
