SENIOR CREDIT CONTROLLER

Robert Walters are partnered with a global professional services business based in Warrington who are seeking to recruit a Senior Credit Controller. This role will be responsible for driving process improvement across the credit function and requires someone with extensive credit control experience - ideally worked within professional services. Any experience working with global/international companies also ideal
Key Responsibilities
* Timely collection of accounts receivable to deliver monthly cash targets
* Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key clients/project managers
* Daily cash recording, posting and allocation of client accounts
* Evaluate new credit account applications and review existing risk and exposure using credit reference agency services
* Prepare and circulate weekly and monthly aged debtors reports to key stakeholders
* Take ownership and arrange regular cash calls to update key stakeholders on any collection risks and aged debt items
* Customer account reconciliations
* Liaise with external auditors to deliver annual audit requirements ensuring time scales are met
* Identify and implement process improvement and SOP documents
Key requirements
* Good communication skills both verbal and written, with experience of communicating at several levels
* ERP systems knowledge
* Maintain a can-do attitude with a focus on high level internal and external customer service
* Experience of working to regular month end deadlines
* A willingness and ability to challenge deadlines and exceed on delivery
* Intermediate level Excel - Pivots & lookups desirable
