Salary: Up to £60,000

Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5pm

About the role of Senior Credit Risk Analyst

We are seeking an experienced analyst to support first-line risk across our motor finance portfolio. The role holder will be responsible for a full range of activities including monitoring of the motor portfolio from a Credit Risk and property perspective.

Responsibilities required for the role of Senior Credit Risk Analyst

• Develop a suite of MI to monitor all risks across the motor finance portfolio
• To collate, clean and summarise customer data and customer performance data from appropriate sources, ensuring accurate information is supplied to the business
• To deliver regular insight into portfolio health, highlighting potential risks and threats, and proposing appropriate mitigating actions.
• Support the risk culture of the organisation by taking personal responsibility for identifying and managing risks in everything you do.
• To keep abreast of external economic and market conditions that could impact the portfolio
• Knowledge of the regulatory framework and ensuring our policies and processes are compliant with regulations

Experience required for the role of Senior Credit Risk Analyst

• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient in using software tools such as SAS, Python, R, and SQL (list not exclusive) to extract and manipulate large and complex data from a data warehouse
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office
• Strong academic background. A numerical-based degree is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience in Credit Risk along with motor finance background is essential
