Key Responsibilities of the Senior CRM Executive/Marketing Analyst
- Develop a deep understanding of the firm’s clients, services and sectors to carry out comprehensive quantitative and qualitative research for chosen markets.
- Identify industry trends, client needs and potential opportunities, providing insight which will feed into strategic planning, client relationship development and marketing.
- Monitor and analyse key competitor activity, strength and weaknesses to identify areas for differentiation and improvement.
- Create in-depth profiles of existing and potential clients to better understand their industries, challenges and legal services requirements.
- Collect and analyse data from various sources to provide actionable insights and make recommendations to key stakeholders, business development and client relationship teams for thought leadership topics, campaigns and new products.
- Undertake research and assist with the delivery of commercially orientated client and market insight to strengthen the firm’s pitches, new business win strategies, the client relationship programme and any wider business development activities
- Assist in the development of marketing, business development and new business win strategies and campaigns by providing data driven insights and recommendations.
- Interrogate data held in the firm’s databases to be used in thought leadership reports and initiatives.
- Extract data and market insight to be used in client facing content.
- Contribute to the continued development of the firm’s long term strategic plans by providing insights into market dynamics and client expectations.
- Create and present reports and presentations to communicate key findings and recommendations.
- Manage and organise research data and resources to provide easy access and retrieval of information by stakeholders.
- Stay updated on research methodologies, tools and technologies to improve the effectiveness of market insight efforts.
- Create and promote best practice within the firm across research and market insights.
- Assist with collation of data and preparation of reports to assist with measuring ROI of key strategic initiatives.
Skills & Attributes of the Senior CRM Executive/Marketing Analyst
- Strong research and analysis experience gained within professional services. An understanding of legal is advantageous.
- Excellent working knowledge of data analysis tools and market research technology (Vable, Pitchbook and MarketIQ), coupled with experience of working with CRM systems (ideally InterAction).
- Good desktop publishing skills; particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in spreadsheet manipulation and report preparation.
- A good understanding of data management best practice.
- A strategic, commercial mindset with demonstrable experience of connecting research findings with actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey research in a succinct way to stakeholders.
- High levels of precision and accuracy with a detail-oriented approach.
- Experience of project management skills to ensure deadlines are effectively met.
- Excellent relationship building experience, with the ability to build trusting working relationships internally and externally.
