Senior Data Analyst - £65,000 - REMOTE

We've partnered up with an award winning Microsoft Gold Partner that are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join as a key member of their data team. You will have an important part in data-driven decision making for the business.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing complex data analysis projects, providing strategic insights and collaborating across teams to identify opportunities and solve critical business problems.

Role & Responsibilities

• Leading and managing end-to-end data analysis projects i.e. data collection, data cleansing, data vitalisation
• Applying advanced statistical and analytic techniques in order to interpret trends and patterns to provide solutions
• Working closely with stakeholders (internal and external) to understand requirements and provide insights in order to support decision making
• Mentoring junior analysts using your technical expertise in data analysis
• Effectively communicating high level, complex data insights to non-technical individuals and stakeholders through presentations and reports
• Working closely with Data Engineers, Business Intelligence, Software Engineers to improve scalability, efficiency and help business teams in data related requirements

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven track record of working with complex data sets in a multi-sector environment
• Proficiency with high level data analysis
• Strong experience in Data Querying using SQL i.e. SQL with Power BI and/or SSIS
• Strong experience with Data pipeline and work flow management tools
• Strong experience with Data Integration
• Strong experience with Data Warehousing and Relational Databses
• Strong experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI
• Good understanding of how Power BI Service works
• Excellent communication skills in order to communicate effectively with stakeholders of all levels, as well as training and supporting staff where necessary
• Proven track record of working in an Agile environment
• Strong Data Modelling experience i.e. SSAS, Excel, Power Query, Power BI
