The Senior Data & Compliance Specialist will lead the departments compliance activities working with the team to ensure a governance framework is in place and the team is fully compliant.
The Senior Data & Compliance Specialist will lead the pricing system development, ensuring the data interface between our Data Lake and Parts Pricing software run smoothly whilst providing guidance on the workflows and developing solutions to improve the process.
This is a key role reporting into the head of department and will offer the successful candidate a great opportunity to work cross functionally across the commercial function.
WHAT TO EXPECT

• Validation of JLR monthly retail price files
• Manage audit compliance by maintaining a governance framework for the pricing team.
• Maintenance of audit control documentation
• Co-ordination of Annual File Review activity
• Troubleshoot operational data issues and raise/work with suppliers to resolve tickets and test solutions.
• Develop Pricing systems and data sets to support the aspiration for sustainable profit growth.
• Manage information on all parts pricing activity including the tracking of KPI's
• Financial analysis and report preparation - robust manipulation and analysis of large parts sales datasets
• Set up the data sets within Pricing software so that the Pricing team can make informed decisions.
• Interface with colleagues from JLR IT, Data Lake, Pricing Software Supplier to ensure an effective and efficient Pricing flow. Also continuously working with our partners both internal and external to develop the Pricing system to remain best in class.
• Support colleagues with technical questions related to data flow, pricing software.

WHAT YOU-LL NEED

• Must have experience of working within a Pricing function, ideally in a spare parts industry.
• Must have a strong ability & know how with coding eg. using SQL, Python, Postman, MS Access, Tableau
• Must have experience of working with big data sets such as Google Cloud Platform
• Must have experience working in a quality / compliance environment with some knowledge of audit control & Compliance adherence
Experience of working with cloud based computing solutions, testing and delivery.
