The Data and Analytics Office was established to transform HSBC into a truly data-driven organisation by ensuring that every design decision has a built-in data consideration. In this fantastic senior level role, with opportunities to progress further as a Chief Data Officer, you will design, develop and govern strategic data objectives within the Data and Analytics Office (DAO). You will be responsible for embedding the data strategy, driving a data centric culture, and interpreting data to drive strategic business decisions. This involves tasks such as identifying key insights from data, partnering with senior stakeholders, defining business data requirements, building robust data controls, implementing data governance and quality assurance across key business services.

In this role you will:
- Identify, design and implement data controls across HSBC UK
- Manage, lead and support the implementation of the Data Strategy including initiatives under the Protect, Connect and Unlock pillars.
- Build extensive business relationships and embed ownership of data with the in-country business and data communities.
- Run and present awareness sessions to embed Data Usage controls into BAU.
- Report to senior stakeholders on progress and blockers and ensure changes and progress are rigurously recorded through governance.
