The Design Officer sits within the Creative team at Mind, our newly-formed in-house creative team. Our vision is to:
-provide an agency-standard creative service to the organisation,
-drive creative excellence, and
-bring Mind's work to life with impactful, innovative content.
Key duties and responsibilities
The post holder will:
provide a specialist design service to all Mind teams. This includes designing and artworking content across a range of formats (both print and digital), from printed marketing materials and policy reports to digital assets and branded collateral for events. A key aspect of this will be ensuring that all design work is a strong expression of our brand, of high quality, and optimised/correctly exported for the format in which it will be used. While this role will predominantly involve hands-on graphic design work, you may also be required to support with commissioning and managing freelance designers or agencies where appropriate.
In addition to providing specialist design expertise, you will also collaborate with the wider content teams to generate powerful concepts for content and campaigns.
