JOB DESCRIPTION
Working in a large team of Developers with strong skill sets in front and backend web development. This team will focus on the product listing page (PLP) for every country including all 3rd party Total Platform clients.
About the Role
Working across our UK and international eCommerce platforms, you’ll help develop and support systems that handle millions of pounds worth of transactions every day. This will involve full end to end development work, from inception to right through to support.
In this product centric environment, you will be working as a team to create new pipelines and new features as well as BAU requests.
As a Senior Developer for the team, alongside hands on development, you’ll coach and mentor the backend development team, represent the team in meetings and stand in for the Project Manager
Working in a truly Agile way, you will get to see your work live from day 1 and will get involved with lots of big changes.
You’ll help provide development support to internal users, as well as offering out-of-hours cover during seasonal events and busy trading periods. You’ll also use your expertise and experience to help us continually improve our processes and working practices, actively enabling the department to become as efficient and effective as it can be.
There are flexible working options available for this role, including hybrid working.
Essential Criteria
- Able to speak, read and write English at a level that enables you to complete your role, for example, to understand instructions and communicate effectively with stakeholders and/or other team members
- Experienced in effectively working in a collaborative manner in a large scale, fast paced environment within a multifunctional technical team
- Microsoft C# / .NET Framework
- Azure Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory
- CI/CD
- NodeJS
- Design pattern
- SOLID principles
- Rest API’s
- Good knowledge in industry best practices in development.
- Good communication skills
- Agile Processes
