SalaryWe are currently working with our global technology development client with a headquarters in Cambridge to assist with sourcing a Senior Development Engineer to assist with on-going development efforts. Joining the team on a permanent basis and working with the team through an exciting technical development stage across an array of projects while supporting with the growth of wider team members.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Review, define and write test scripts for software and hardware systems.
- Support with the continual development of internal automated testing infrastructures.
- Implement testing procedures for internal products and product development.
- Collaborate with wider engineering departments.
- Enhance product quality through results tracking to improve efficiency across the company.
The Successful candidate will have:
- Experience mentoring junior team members.
- Electronic Engineering Degree BSc / BEng / HND qualification or relevant experience.
- Experienced within software testing and or embedded firmware testing.
- Exceptional communicational skills and project management skills.
- 5 years experience with one of more of Python, Powershell, Bash or C#.
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical control systems and electronic hardwares.
- Previous experience within Model-based control development.
- Experience with analysis of dynamic systems and experimental design.
- Experience with simulation and controller development systems.
