Our client is a South Wales food manufacturer that values hard work, teamwork and developing people. They are a leading manufacturer in their field and are now looking to add a maintenance engineer to their growing engineering team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Customer facing role managing the development process from start to finish.
- Make all new product development kitchen samples as required for customer / internal briefs and projects.
- Developing full understanding of the food with a desire to translate new trends & consumer needs into winning New Product Development
- Leading the business into new profitable areas through proactive Innovation / New Product development.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Educated to degree level in food related subject, and or 3 years' experience within the food industry.
- Experience of own label NPD within major retail sector.
- spot opportunities for product development & engage the wider team to gain buy-in.
