Job Description
- Leading the property development team in strategic planning and execution.
- Managing property portfolio including acquisitions, disposals, and leases.
- Undertaking comprehensive development appraisals and feasibility studies.
- Contributing to the formulation of the Council's Asset Management Strategy.
- Providing expert advice on property development and management to other departments.
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory and corporate property-related policies and procedures.
- Promoting sustainability and environmental standards in all property developments.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the community.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Development Surveyor should have:
- A degree or equivalent in a property-related discipline.
- A membership to a recognised professional body such as RICS or CIOB.
- Proven experience in property development and strategic planning.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of sustainability and environmental standards in property development.
