The Senior Electrical Project Manager role sits within the heart of our Central Operations team, who focus on achieving the project delivery objectives and goals on time, in budget and to the highest quality. On top of having oversight of regional P&L and KPIs you’ll be responsible for:
- Accurate Resource Plans / Effective project delivery / Willingness to assist others.
- Developing strong working relationships with our customers and internal support functions to improve project execution and maximise repeat business opportunities for repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Efficiently managing internal and external stakeholders including field engineers, contracts managers, estimators and sales.
- Identifying, assessing, and minimising risk, always striving for continuous improvement.
- Overseeing project budgets.
- Forecasting and pipeline management providing regular progress reports.
- Creating and aligning programme of works to ensure continuity with customer requirements.
- Coaching and mentoring other PMs and direct reports within the team.
- Completing thorough project assessment to identify & understand caveats & assumptions and refine project scopes.
- Fostering a culture of Health, Safety, and Quality; manage project-related Health & Safety aspects.
- Overseeing regional compliance with CDM and managing health and safety, including creation/approving of CDM documentation.
Electrify us with your skills:
We think the role would be great for somebody with previous experience of managing large commercial installations, with civil and electrical elements as well as someone with:
- 5+ years of Electrical Project management experience
- Demonstrable knowledge of Project Management or Contract Management roles
- A strong understanding of Electrical Building Services Installations
- Keen focus on Health and Safety
- Excellent written communication skills, confident communicating to key stakeholders, ability to make decisions
- Comfortable working with numbers and data and remaining calm under pressure
