About the role:
Astute's Power team are working with a Water & wasterwater servicing and maintenance company focusing on providing maintenance solutions for clients around Chesterfield.They have a requirement for a Senior Electrical Technician. As the Senior Electrical Technician you will be responsible for the repair, servicing and maintenance of dewatering equipment and other ancillary equipment.

Responsibilities and duties:
As the Senior Electrical technician you will be:

• Work as the senior team leader of a team of other electrical or mechanical engineers and mechanical fitters, often consisting of two or more engineers across a range of sites
• Carry out electrically complex and detailed asset overhauls and replacements
• Undertake complex electrical repairs and modifications dewatering equipment, pumps, pipework, valves and other ancillary equipment
• Troubleshooting on dewatering electrical systems: filtration, centrifuge
• Complete test reports, installation certificates and customer feedback documents

Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

• Previous experience in working in an industrial environment
• NVQ or a recognised apprenticeship in electrical engineering maintenance at Level 3
• 18th Edition qualification
• Full UK Driving License
• IOSH certification
