Senior Electronics Engineer - £55,000-75,000K – Surrey A key account of nGenium’s are looking for a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to join a rapidly expanding business and become an integral part of the engineering team. The Senior Electronics Engineer’s goal will be to develop electronics across our product range and ensure that all tasks are achieved in a timely and efficient manner.This would be a really exciting time to be joining the business and allow you to be a big part of the companys future.Key skills & experience:● Degree in Electronics Engineering or related qualification (or several yearsindustry experience)● Strong verbal and written communication skills● Experience using Altium and LTSpice, or similar transferable experience● Experience designing multi-layer circuit boards is essential - includingcomponents such as microcontrollers, DC-DC converters, FPGAs, embeddedprocessors, motor drivers etc.● Thorough knowledge of PCB layout principles and best practices for high-speedsignal routing● Skills and experience debugging prototype PCBs, making use of testequipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analysers etc. to perform board bring-upand troubleshooting● Experience writing technical specifications and designing boards to a set ofSpecifications:● Ability to verify the compliance of a design solution against a set ofSpecifications● Experience contributing to design reviews and collaborating with otherengineers and non technical staff● Strong appreciation for EMC considerations in electronics development and theability to debug EMC related issues● Embedded programming skills (C++)● Experience using version control systems such as git● FPGA development (VHDL / Verilog) experience is beneficial● Experience developing RF PCBs is beneficial
