Senior Employee Relations Partner - UK

Location: Peterborough
Salary: FTE £36,000 to £52,000 per annum, non-negotiable.
Hours: Full or part time - we welcome applications from candidates who are looking for flexible arrangements. Many of our colleagues work flexibly. We can’t promise to give you exactly what you want but we won’t judge you for asking!

Role Context:
The primary role is to ensure that HR guidance and coaching is provided in relation to all Employee Relations and people activities to all managers and employees at Royal HaskoningDHV in the UK. Reporting directly to the HR Country Manager for the UK, as part of our People relations team, also providing second level support to our People Services team.
What will you do as a People Relations Partner:
- Provide Employee Relations support ensuring that all advice provided is in line with HR policy and
- Support the execution of restructuring, relocations, mergers & acquisitions, on a project basis.
- Support organisational change by providing change management strategies, defining, and implementing communication plans.
- Coach managers on individual Employee Relations issues including, but not limited to, absenteeism, grievances, performance issues, disciplinaries, personal development, & engagement
- Work closely with our HR Business Partners, People Services team and Global Centres of Expertise for an efficient, and effective employee experience from job offer acceptance to off boarding employees (Hire2Retire)
- Review and update HR policies and procedures in line with country legislation and advise line managers
- Engage with the Global mobility team on Immigration matters to ensure alignment within the business and support compliance of our Immigration sponsorship
- Work closely with the HR Country Manager & HR Business Partners to build and implement new HR/People strategies that are aligned with current Business objectives and drive change across the business
What will you bring:
You will quickly understand the organisation, understanding what is needed and how to translate this into the organisation and the people agenda.
In addition, you will have:
- Strong Employee Relations experience including organizational change processes and change management, including TUPE &
- Consultation experience relating to both individual and collective
- Highly effective organising and planning
- Good written communications
- 4-5 years of experience in an HR advisory role, at a senior level
- Experience working in a global and matrix environment, would be
- Effective communication skills with the ability to build confidence, and credibility, whilst engaging in challenging conversations
- The ability to deal with complexity and change management in a positive and proactive manner.
- Minimum of CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel Development) level 5
