As a Senior Engineering Project Manager, you will lead complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive the successful execution of our most critical initiatives. Your expertise in either aerospace, automotive, or automation markets will be crucial in steering projects that push the boundaries of what's possible.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Engineering Project Manager:
- Lead and manage complex Engineering Projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to drive project success.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide junior Project Managers and engineers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements of the Senior Engineering Project Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in project management within the aerospace, automotive, or automation sectors.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
