Senior Estimator

Your new company
A leading infrastructure services provider, operating within the water sector are looking to appoint a Senior Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Are you an experienced Estimator within the water industry seeking a new challenge?
Your new role
Reporting directly to the Managing Estimator, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely estimates across a mix of clean water and waste water projects.

• Providing estimating support with bids and contracts to ensure robust pricing, risk management and governance
• Assist the Senior Management Team on commercial influences and risks around bids
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to produce accurate and timely estimates/cost data
• Travelling to sites to ascertain scope of works as & when required

What you\'ll need to succeed
Our client is looking to meet with experienced Estimators who have worked on projects within the waste water sector.
You will have previous experience working on water and wastewater projects.

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Cost & Planning or similar will be an advantage.
• Effective communication and negotiating skills
• Excellent people management skills
• Commercial and contractual knowledge and understanding of various forms of NEC Contracts
• Knowledge of estimating software packages such as Conquest
