Address East Cheshire Trust is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager with previous NHS experience. A enthusiastic professional who can prioritise their workload, lead a team and who is confident managing contractors.
This role requires effective management of facilities services, directly supporting and deputising for the Head of Facilities (Soft FM) to ensure compliance with agreed standards of service and performance. Able to effectively manage ‘in house’ and contracted services.
Professionally manage and mentor colleagues to ensure efficient and effective delivery and support across the Trust, demonstrating excellent communication, advice and direction leading to positive tangible outcomes.
Ability to manage and control budgets whilst at the same time identifying potential areas of efficiency are essential to this role .
This role requires the ability to adapt and innovate so that services can continuously improve, experience in managing change is required.
Act as the direct lead for managing all Operational Soft FM services but primarily the key Soft FM contract. Work proactively to support all the providers, managers and their teams appropriately. Monitor performance and quality standard compliance.
Services in the key Soft FM contract comprise:
Healthcare cleaning
Patient and Retail Catering including vending
Portering including Post Room
Switchboard services
Security Services
Feminine Hygiene
Barrier matting
Waste Management
Linen & Laundry
Transport
Car Parking
Estates & Facilities Central Admin team
