Renfrewshire Council is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled Senior Facilities Operative (Production Catering) who can demonstrate the necessary skills and experience to deliver a high quality, modern Soft Facilities Management/Catering service. You will have responsibility, at site level, for the supervision of staff, ensuring effective delivery of the catering service. It is desirable that you have previous supervisory experience and are willing to undertake training. It is essential that you have previous catering experience in a similar environment. You will have a flexible approach to working hours and have experience of working in a customer focused environment and be willing and enthusiastic to work as part of a team. It is essential that you have previous experience of dealing with members of the public. You will have literacy, numeracy and IT skills and it is desirable that you have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and colleagues. It is essential that you have a REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate or willing to work towards. If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
