The Senior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in the finance function and contribute to budgets and forecasting, monthly reporting, ad-hoc projects and supporting the senior leadership team.
- Forecasting and working on the budget process and model
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure budgets remain on track. Providing continued analysis and feedback on performance vs budget
- Responsible for posting payroll journals and providing analysis.
- Preparing monthly management accounts and reporting in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist with preparing the monthly management report
- Providing relevant information for the year-end audit
- Ad hoc projects, requests and responsibilities
Person Specifications
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar)
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Previous experience in a commercial finance role with forecasting and budgeting experience
- Strong technical accounting skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Familiarity with Xero and SAP accounting systems are an advantage
