Senior Finance Assistant

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Senior Finance Assistant to join a growing business located in Central Bristol. This is an office-based role, for which the client is offering a very competitive:

Up to GBP30,000 plus excellent benefits

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with internal teams to address client queries
• Process time-sheets, purchase invoices and weekly payment runs
• Ensure all necessary payments are submitted on online banking
• Reconcile accounts and make journal adjustments, as needed
• Raise, produce and upload sales invoices to appropriate accounting software
• Monitor time-sheets, reporting on those which are not accounted for or outstanding
• Assist with process improvements and system changes, ensuring efficiencies
• Provide training and support to junior members of the team
• Other ad hoc tasks as and when required

Person Specification:

• Proven track record of working in a similar role, in a fast-based, busy environment
• Strong IT skills including Excel
• AAT, or equivalent QBE
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Organised, self starter who loves being part of a team
