Form of workWe're collaborating with a prominent Bristol based business to seek a dynamic Senior Finance Business Partner. This role plays a pivotal part in driving and taking ownership of the financial performance within our diverse portfolio. For the right candidate this role offers:
£70,000 - £80,000 + 12% bonus + hybrid working (2 days in the office)
Responsibilities:
- Identify areas of both under and over performance, driving actionable strategies to harness opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Uncover and spotlight trends, delving beyond numbers to decipher the drivers behind our performance.
- Analyse performance against budget and prior years, extracting insightful conclusions.
- Interpret key performance indicators, offering comprehensive context for performance outcomes.
- Craft comprehensive reports, infusing them with astute commercial insights for presentation in weekly/monthly trading and commercial review meetings.
- Ensure clarity among teams regarding reported numbers and their impact.
- Support the provision of financial appraisal and decision-making support by swiftly analysing data to facilitate timely decisions.
- Conduct necessary analyses such as Net Present Value, Cost Benefit, and investment payback periods.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales and Commercial Director to create and maintain daily and weekly dashboards.
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including commercial pricing, budgeting, financial analysis, decision-making support, and regular reporting.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant
- Proven experience navigating complex organisational structures
- A fervour for numbers and analytics
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated expertise in driving business strategies
- Proficiency in financial modelling and advanced MS Excel
