Refresco, the world's largest independent soft drinks manufacturer, seeks a passionate, agile commercially savvy, Senior Finance Business Partner (12 months FTC) to live, eat and breathe and partner our Contract Manufacturing function, working on all aspects of several customer contracts, helping Refresco UK achieve stretch targets and further growth. Our Contract Manufacturing customers include some of the best-known names in the global drinks market.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified finance professional to get in to the detail of how a large scale FMCG company operates and help the Contract Manufacturing commercial functions reach their goals.

About the Role

As Senior Finance Business Partner (Contract Manufacturing) you will cover all aspects of the customer relationship from the original estimate and contract negotiations through to monthly reporting and dealing with operational issues.  In addition, you will manage the commercial proposition for profit and cash. You will be a key Business Partner for senior decision makers and need to take a proactive approach in identifying and helping to secure successful outcomes.

You will report to the Finance Business Unit Controller, manage a small team, and you are a senior member of the Refresco commercial/operations finance function, right at the heart of the Refresco business.

 Here are some of your key tasks and responsibilities as Senior Finance Business Partner (Contract Manufacturing):

- Work closely on a daily basis with the Contract Manufacturing Account Managers, with emphasis on our larger accounts, focusing on pricing (new SKU's or changes to existing SKU's).

- Working with the Head of Contract Manufacturing and Accounts Managers to formulate pricing scenarios to support commercial decision making.
- Providing insightful decision making support on costing and pricing proposals, taking into account brand strategy, competitor brand positioning, short and long term objectives and profitability.
 - A reliable and trusted Business Partner who delivers constructive challenge and quality insights.
- Ensuring promotional and other discounts and marketing costs and accurately reflected and allocated to underpin clarity in brand performance. Accurate reflection in accounts 

- Delivering insightful reporting and commentary on brand performance and profitability - making recommendations for change where appropriate.
About You
You will be an experienced, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant who has previously worked in a Business Partnering role with a complex commercial focus. Ideally you will have experience of working within FMCG, or a related industry sector. Although you are qualified you may not necessarily have taken the customary professional route. If you have been a Site Accountant or Site Finance Manager in a manufacturing environment, where you have had to deal with all aspects of finance such as payroll and accounts but where you have had to really understand the workings of an organisation and how it makes its money, we would like to hear from you.

Crucially, you are good at translating your commercial understanding in to customer conversations - agile in your thinking and approach, articulate and clear in your communication.
