About the role

As a Senior Finance Business Partner has overall control and responsibility for all Business Partnering aspects of England Cold Chain activities with an expectation to analyse figures and implement recommendations based on these findings, with the most profitable outcomes. The Senior Finance Business Partner will mentor and manage the Business Partner Team, working closely with the Managing Director.

You will be responsible for:

  • Provide information and analysis for the BU team, to optimise the company’s financial performance and strategic position.
  • Contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers.
  • Ensure that the company financial system is robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth.
  • Work with the senior team to grow the business formulating strategies and plans.
  • Ensure the company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, acquisitions, and disposals are met as appropriate.
  • Ensure that the forecast is monitored and revised in conjunction with the Business Unit requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation of the Annual Statutory Accounts and ensure all relevant information requested by the auditors is presented.

About you

Effective communication is key to fostering collaboration across teams and external parties. This role suits an experienced Accountant with a minimum of two years' experience, demonstrating proficiency in management. Adaptability and integrity are essential traits we are looking for.
