Senior Finance Manager

I am recruiting exclusively for a unique opportunity to join a well-established and successful company as the Finance Manager with responsibility for wider business management.  Not only would this role require someone who can capably oversee the operational running of the Finance Team but can also lead on the development and strategic direction of the business whilst ensuring all layers of compliance, financially and otherwise are met.

This role would be of particular interest to someone with a practice background, extensive experience in Auditing or with suitable experience (3 yrs+) and keen to grow into this sector as well as into a wider range of responsibilities commensurate with the role of a Manager.

Key responsibilities will be:

• All internal bookkeeping for the business – transactional, compliance, audit and quality assessment.
• Substantial financial management for a wide client base, including: credit control, budget management, financial reporting and guidance.
• General management responsibilities such as: maintaining strong professional relationships with clients, peers and management, investigating and providing analysis as needed as well as managing day to day aspects such as insurances, utilities, calendar/annual process including quality assessment as well as attendance, sickness and holiday planning.
• To identify proactively opportunities for process improvement and to recruit, retain and develop staff to create a culture of excellence

This role requires someone fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent), would suit someone with a practice or audit background who is seeking wider responsibilities to be that key member of the management team to bring all layers and facets of the business together in a cohesive and happy environment.
