SalaryA UK based FMCG group are looking to hire a proactive Senior Finance Manager. This opportunity will involve day-to day management and development of a small Finance team; working closely with the Financial Controller and Finance Director. The business are in their Growth phase, with expansion plans underway, and they are keen to have a commercially minded Finance manager join the team; business partnering with both Finance and non-Finance stakeholders.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for preparing the monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts
- Provide commentary on performance vs budget; presenting to Senior Leadership
- Review/Assist with month end journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Business Partner with heads of Department (finance and non-finance); evaluating risks and opportunities for the business
- Subject matter expert for auditors
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Previous management experience essential
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commercially minded Finance Manager
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
