Our client a leading healthcare wholesalers is committed to providing high-quality products and services to our clients are seeking a talented Finance Officer, as they continue to grow your role will be vital in ensuring the financial stability and growth.
As the Finance Officer, you report to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for collaborating closely with the senior management team and shareholders to deliver sustained growth and continual improvements within the finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine and improve all Finance and IT system controls where necessary.
- Implement and maintain robust financial and management accounting controls.
- Ensure adherence to all financial policies and procedures through influencing stakeholders.
- Develop and implement new policies where necessary.
- Drive a continuous improvement mindset across finance and operational areas.
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts and Board reports.
- Implement and maintain best practice month-end closure process and accurate reconciliation of control accounts. Ability to use sage 200.
- Conduct regular balance sheet reviews and sign-offs with clear process mapping
- Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports.
- Identify working capital opportunities and drive actions to optimize cash and stock.
- Ensure accurate recording, filing, and reporting of all financial transactions.
- Identify and drive actions to simplify operational procedures and implement process efficiencies.
- Assist with large-scale strategic initiatives as required.
- Strengthen and develop relationships with key senior stakeholders.
- Present reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members.
- Support the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts as required.
- Structure, direct, and support the Management Accounting team.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or studying towards.

- To be considered for this role you must have at least 2 years proven experience in a similar role in finance or accounting. In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices, an excellent communicator who is process driven.
