SENIOR FINANCE SPECIALIST/PURCHASE LEDGER
We are delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Finance Specialist to join our fast-growing client based in Deeside.
WHAT YOU WILL WANT TO KNOW:
- Salary up to £38K DOE

A SHORT SNAPSHOT OF THE SENIOR FINANCE SPECIALIST'S DAY:
- Payroll administration and processing.
- Process purchase invoices to ensure compliance with approvals and internal controls.
- Understand accounting principles and financial legislation.
- Maintain up to date records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices with handling and solving supplier queries.
- Conduct month-end processes like accruals and data integrity reviews.
- Assist with VAT, statistical, or management reporting.
- Support other purchase ledger tasks and cash management.
- Understand business dynamics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the finance team.

- Knowledge of Payroll
- Candidate should be a self-starter and hardworking and capable of working well in a team.
- Proficient in implementing control processes and procedures to ensure compliance and governance within finance.
- Understanding of purchasing processes and controls is necessary.
- Experience with SAGE and MS Office is required; SAP experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with FRS 102 and basic knowledge of IFRS is a bonus, but not essential.
