Description

· Leading and managing Finance Transformation projects.

· Ensuring successful integration of finance departments following a merger.

· Looking at gaps, efficiency opportunities and outsourcing. Including around account payable, payroll and billing.

· Implementing financial strategies and initiatives.

· Overseeing financial operations to ensure efficiency and compliance.

· Collaborating with various departments to optimise financial processes.

· Managing and developing a high-performing finance team.

· Providing insightful financial reports to senior management.

· Driving continuous improvement in financial systems and practices.

· Ensuring adherence to industry regulations and company policies.

Profile

A successful Senior Finance Transformation Lead should have:

· A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

· Proven experience in a finance leadership role within the financial services industry.

· Exceptional knowledge of finance systems and transformation strategies.

· Formalise the team structure and supporting governance model for the project

· Use process expertise and business analysis capability to define new 'to-be' processes and controls, identifying opportunities for process improvement and simplification

· Document and obtain sign-off of to-be processes and controls in a 'hands-on' capacity

· Define a cutover / migration plan covering the transition from the 'as-is' to the 'to-be' organisational model

· Document requirements for additional MI to monitor the performance of the 'to-be' Finance organisation

· Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
