Senior Credit Controller
Our client are recruting for a experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team.. The main responsibility of the role is to manage all aspects of the company’s Sales Ledger, with a heavy focus on Credit Control. This is a diverse and challenging role for the right candidate, with a real opportunity for them to put their own mark on improving our management processes and reporting for the sales ledger.
Job profile:
- All aspects of Credit Control (including chasing aged debt and setting up new clients)
- Assisting with the management of monthly contract charges and invoices
- Building relationships with internal colleagues
- Proactively chasing and managing customer relationships to ensure issues are raised and resolved before payment is due
- Bank Reconciliation
- Assist with weekly cashflow forecasting
- Requirement to assist with other accounts tasks as the role develops.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a credit control role (+5yrs B2B)
- Can develop strong working relationships
- Good communication and organisation skills, plus the ability to plan and prioritise a busy workload
- A strong customer focus and an appropriate level of IT/PC literacy, particularly in the use of MS Office applications
- Knowledge of Sage 200 (desirable)
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
Benefits:
- Salary £28,000-£30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
