SalaryThis is an urgent requirement for a temporary Credit Controller experienced at a senior level (manager or team leader ideally). Must have strong credit control skills and confidence to jump straight on to the role. Need cover for at least 3 months in a hybrid role working 2 days per week on site in Leeds city centre. They are also looking for someone permanent so temp to perm could be an option or just committing to the 3 months.
The role:
Working across 4 ledgers using a manual process and extensive use of Excel. Must be a very experienced Credit Controller and ideally have worked as Credit Control Manager, Team Leader or Senior Credit Controller. The requirement is due to an internal promotion and someone having to take longer term leave.
Responsibilities:
- Fully supporting with the credit control function and updating records on Excel (must have good Excel experience)
- Extensive daily reconciliation
- Checking all details are correct on 4 ledgers (one of which they took over last year and has some complicated info on this one to check and amend)
- Contacting customers across a wide range of account values from £50 to £500k to chase outstanding debts
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Excellent credit control experience at a senior level
- Confident communicator
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Able to commit to 3 months on a temp basis
Salary: Up to £40,000 pa dependent on experience. The rate will be relevant to past experience.
Location: Leeds city centre and hybrid
Hours: Mon-Fri 37.5 hours per week ideally but flexible 8/8.30/9am start to 4/4.30/5pm finish. 30 mins lunch. However can offer some flexibility.
