Senior Financial Accountant | Manchester (hybrid) | £60,000-£75,000 plus bonus and benefits 
Axon Moore are delighted to be working with a Listed Services business who are a real success story in their sector. Following a successful listing, the business has continued to grow both organically and through M&A.
Due to an internal promotion, they are looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant, ideally operating at Audit Manager level or have 1-2 years PQE in an industry environment. This is a unique opportunity for a technically astute accountant to gain exposure in a listed environment and benefit from a high quality finance function who pride themselves on career development and mentorship.
Key responsibilities:

• Preparation of Group Plc accounts under IFRS and statutory accounts for 2 UK subsidiaries under FRS101
• Collation of the Monthly Management Information Packs and support in preparation of the Monthly Board Papers, including P&Ls, balance sheet, cash flow position and other Group KPIs.
• Input to the Front end of the Annual Report and Accounts and Investor Presentations in relation to disclosed financial information;
• Key point of contact with Group auditors, including project management of timetable, ensuring local finance teams are providing deliverables on a timely basis and deadlines are being met
• Responsibility for key audit and accounting matters including Share Based Payment Accounting, Investment Impairment reviews and other technical accounting matters as they arise;
• Responsibility for Group compliance with accounting standards and implementation of Group accounting policies across all subsidiaries.
• Perform an Internal Audit function to cover testing of controls over key processes and review of judgmental/ complex balance sheet areas, as agreed by the Audit Committee. Collate findings and report back to site teams for resolution and communication back to the Audit Committee.
• Submission of Statutory filings for subsidiary companies to Companies House.

Person Specification:

• ACA Qualified with a background in practice, ideally operating at Manager level
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Excel skillset
• Motivated to progress
