Senior Financial Accountant

Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller and supervising a small team of staff, you will be responsible for:
Accurate and timely monthly financial reporting and year-end statutory accounts. You will ensure that controls of financial assets are monitored and developed. You will ensure compliance to accounting standard across the finance department, working with the internal auditors and supporting with the external audit deliverables. You will review balance sheet reconciliations, payroll and payment approval processes, and cashflow forecasts. You will support with maintaining and development of a 5-year finance model. Including cash management, capital investment appraisals. Support with the production of the annual business plan and 4 quarterly forecasts. You will also play a key role in VAT & Tax reporting and returns. You will supervise a small team and support the FC with adhoc tasks and projects. You will also contribute to the ongoing ERP systems development work and strive to improve reporting deadlines.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant, with strong Financial Accounting experience in large and complex business. You will be highly IT literate, including previous experience of large ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle. You will be available to start quickly and happy to commit to a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
