SalaryMarc Daniels are recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst to join a large, well-known Company Based in High Wycombe.
If you would have the skillset to develop a standardised approach to cost accounting postings and processes whilst also implementing new processes and improving appropriate controls. , this role would be perfect for you!
- Assist with the preparation of month end accounts to meet internal reporting deadlines.
- Assist in the development of financial controls, processes, and disciplines.
- Support the Head of Divisional Accounting in ongoing monitoring and improvements to the control environment.
- Challenge to Divisional finance teams on appropriate accounting treatment to ensure all postings are compliant with accounting standards and principles.
- Assist in planning and team resource allocation.
- Preparation & review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Drive the introduction of new working practices to ensure they are fit for purpose and provide required outputs.
- Liaise with Divisional & Group FBPs on process improvements and future development requests.
Person Specification:
- Fully or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Proven track record of building excellent working relationships with senior leaders of a large sized business
- Strong system skills including advanced Excel and Power BI
- Management accounting experience
