Senior Financial Analyst, Ats Capex Finance, London

Amazon is seeking a highly analytical and resourcefulFinancial Analyst to support capex investments for EU AmazonTransportation Services (ATS). At Amazon we are continuouslyinnovating on behalf of our customers to deliver more selection,faster, and at lower prices. In this role, you will influencecustomer experience and drive profitability by directly impactingthe planning and execution of Amazon transportation network inEurope. The role requires the ability to fully grasp the economicsof our supply chain network and effectively partner with businessstakeholders to drive changes that maximize Amazon long-term freecash flows.
Key jobresponsibilities
- Analyzing business cases for capexinvestments including partnering with cross-functional teams suchas Real Estate, Design & Construction, and Middle Mile NodePlanning;
- Promoting continuous improvement andstandardization of processes, including implementation of bestpractices and automation initiatives;
- Supportingreporting and planning with insights into the impact of investmentson financial performance;
- Making data-drivenrecommendations that influence stakeholders at director level anddrive consensus across organizations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years offinance or a related analytical field experience
-Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, orBachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering,process re-engineering, quality assurance)experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

-4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects inyour team to scale and improve controllership with measurableresults experience
- Experience working with large-scaledata mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase,Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson,JD Edwards)
