Job description

Are you a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager currently looking for a new role? If so, this could be the role for you!

Gillespie Recruitment are delighted to be working with our client, a leading charity that supports adults with learning disabilities, in their search for a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager!

This role is fully remote, but you must be able to commute once a month to their Croydon office.

Main responsibilities:

  • To produce timely accurate, high-quality budgets in accordance with the timetable which will include the collation of central and operational budgets to get to a consolidated budget position.
  • The preparation of monthly management accounts ensuring the month end timetable deadlines are met.
  • Posting monthly journals
  • Review of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support the annual external audit process and ensure that assigned areas of work, analysis and reporting are completed in line with set deadlines.
  • Support change initiatives across the organisation in a sustainable way.
  • Engage as required with the internal audit function.

The ideal candidate will have a professional qualification within accountancy (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA). Must have strong analytical skills and can make decisions and use initiative in highly pressured environments.
