Senior Firmware Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Ceredigion area.
As the Senior Firmware Engineer you will be responsible for designing and implementing firmware for embedded systems.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Senior Firmware Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Developing, executing and maintaining test procedures, making sure that it compliant with specifications.
2. Liaising with hardware engineers to provide seamless integration of firmware with all necessary electric components.
3. Train more junior Firmware Engineers, ensuring peer code reviews are conducted and helping them continuously improve.
4. When necessary to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve embedded software issues.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior Firmware Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in an engineering related discipline.
2. Proven industry experience in firmware or embedded software development.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience in embedded C/C++ programming.
