Hays Senior Finance are recruiting on behalf of their established & recognisable client based in Dundee for an FP & A Manager position in Dundee. The salary range of £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience is broad as they are open to considering a strong Senior Financial Analyst looking to take the next step in their career while also looking at experienced managers. This position also offers hybrid working, an excellent bonus structure & other strong benefits.
Your new role
Reporting to the FP & A Director, you will be working in an exciting position that incorporates a blend of business partnering, strategic thinking and commercial insight as well as accounting, costing, financial analysis and process & system implementation & improvement. The main function of the role is to support the EMEA senior leadership team with financial analysis to drive business growth and margin expansion. You will complete the strategic planning (3-year plan), monthly and weekly forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis. You will business partner with the senior leadership team, identify and drive improvement opportunities and be involved in various projects including but not limited to acquisition analysis, strategic planning, cost out projects and margin expansion projects.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will be a high-caliber qualified accountant who is self-motivated, flexible, and possesses excellent business acumen. Experience in the manufacturing industry is desirable (not essential) with an emphasis on forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analysis as well as experience of business partnering and influencing senior leadership teams. You should bring energy, drive, passion to the role and possess a highly inquisitive nature as well as critical thinking with a continuous improvement mindset approach.
