Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer - Required for our client based in Leeds. The Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer will be working for a consultancy and will be a specialist within Contaminated Land legislation and have a vast knowledge of contaminated land earthworks and remediation schemes. The role Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer will be joining a well-established team and be expected to technically and financially manage and deliver projects through from initial quotation to issue of reports.
The areas that the Geo-Environmental Engineer / Consultant will have extensive experience within geo-environmental site investigation and assessment, remediation and reclamation design as well as proven experience with contract management and design implementation. The Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer will have experience in report writing including undertaking human health risk and groundwater assessment utilising CLEA, ConSim, RBCA, SNIFFER, BP RISC and EA Remedial Targets for Hydrogeological Risk Assessment.

- Salary £32k -£45k

Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer Position Overview
- Design and implementation of Preliminary Risk Assessments
- Ground Investigations including soil and rock logging
- Soil and groundwater sampling and in-situ testing.
- Contaminated land legislation and the planning regime providing commercial advice to individual Clients and towards project needs.
- Report writing including undertaking human health risk and groundwater assessment Contaminated land remedial works - outline design and specification.
- Preparation of detailed design of contaminated land earthworks and remediation schemes.
Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer Position Requirements
- circa 8 years experience working within a Geo-Environmental role
- Experience in project manager
- Proven ability to lead technical project teams
- Client facing experience
- BSc or BEng in a relevant Geological or Environmental Discipline
- Experience of Undertaking preliminary geotechnical assessments
- Ability to mentor junior staff
- UK Driving Licence
- Live close to Leeds
