In 2024, we’ll be launching across the EU, following our successful launch in Sweden and our new office in Budapest. We’ll also be transforming our product, developing new features and introducing new products. In the UK, we now have over 1.6m registered users, offering a range of products like the Freetrade Pension, a stocks and shares ISA, and our premium plan, Freetrade Plus.
We are looking for an exceptional Graphic Designer to join our team. You will be tasked with taking our graphic design to the next level, implementing high quality and consistent design and evolving our brand across a variety of mediums.
You will:
- Lead our graphic design strategy and implementation
- Evolve our design style and illustrations to maximise our brand impact
- Play a key role cross functionally, collaborating across marketing and product to ensure consistency and quality of design
- Conceptualise, develop and execute innovative designs for a broad range of marketing materials
- Implement brand consistency across all design deliverables, championing a consistent brand identity across the business
- Own the creative process, taking briefs from concept to completion
- Continuously develop and refine our design concepts to ensure they connect with our user base
About you:
- You have experience in graphic design and strong ability across a broad range of design skills
- You are an expert, and have hands-on knowledge of how effectively implement design systems alongside brand and asset toolkits
- You have a demonstrable track record of delivering high quality design assets across a broad range of mediums
- You have artistic flair and a keen eye for evolving a brand image and implementing high quality illustrations
- You adopt a growth mindset, maintaining an up to date knowledge of market & design trends and innovative tools
- You are highly organised and have a strong attention to detail
- You are a self starter, proactive and self-motivated
- You are an expert in figma, Adobe Creative Suite, particularly with Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and After Effects experience
- You have experience with motion graphics. Ideally After Effects, Cinema 4D, 3DS Max, Blender and Lottie animation
- You have experience working with HTML5
- You have worked with project management platforms such as JIRA
- You have a view on how AI can be leverage for design
- You are scrappy and hands-on with no hesitation to get in the weeds.
- You are happy to challenge the status quo if you believe there are better ways to perform the task
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing and competing priorities
- You are driven by Freetrades mission and uphold our values
Logistics & Benefits
The application process consists of a five stage process. You will initially have a phone interview with one of our internal Talent Specialists, followed by a call & portfolio showcase with the head of product design, a call with the hiring manager, a cultural and behavioural interview, with the final round being a task with the hiring manager, head of product design and further members of the marketing team.
We offer a competitive salary plus stock options and lots of other benefits.
